AGENTA highly-trained super spy with a great deal of responsibility on her shoulders, Sparrow is an old soul in a young body.

AGENTClaimed by STING at barely 14 years old, Sparrow holds a near-insatiable hunger for knowledge. She is a very hands-on learner and can often be found tinkering with technology, in order to understand it and even improve on it. Her innovative tendencies often assigned her as the in-field tech support and bomb disposal expert, due to her growing knowledge of each subject. She often had a hand in STING's own inventions.

AGENTHowever, the responsibility of leadership has worn her down over the years. She occasionally found it hard to connect to her team: as their leader, she had to ensure a professional distance, in order to maintain her authority. Aside from giving orders and making the decisions, a higher security clearance meant she was often forced to keep secrets from the people who trusted her. Over time, she began to withdraw from her team, even as she considered them friends.

AGENTFacing the darkest of humanity's motivations turned her jaded and misanthropic; while betrayals within her own agency, including someone close to her, have left her distrusting of most people. She has grown into a very solitary and reticent person, even towards those she might consider friends.

AGENTAs a leader, she is very familiar with making the hard decisions. This has caused tension among her team occasionally, because her decision-making is very black-and-white and logical; and would often involve information she couldn't share with her team. She maintains an emotionless connection to her job, and she has even indirectly killed agents in order to ensure mission completion. That doesn't mean, however, she hasn't swayed the logic in favor of the people she cares about.

AGENTBut she's the leader because she makes the hard decisions.

AGENTMost of all, Sparrow is angry. She has grown angry over the years, particularly in the aftermath of her period of amnesia. This is her greatest trauma, and this is when she grew increasingly closed-off and callous. She is filled with distrust and paranoia, left scarred from her years as a STING agent.

AGENTIt truly is lonely at the top; and as STING's best agent and the leader of the Alpha Team: Sparrow knows this better than most.

AGENTNot much is known about Sparrow before she joined STING. Even less is known about her after.

AGENTRecruited into the agency at 14 years old, Sparrow was the youngest recruit in its history; if you believe the stories, that is. Removed from her family and officially listed as dead, Sparrow's old identity was erased and she was assigned a new STING-verified identity to start her training. But to most people, both before and after her recruitment, she was simply known as Sparrow.

AGENTThe next two years of her life were dedicated to training until she was promoted to a fully-fledged agent. Following this, she spent a year in the field, undertaking a variety of missions assigned by a remote handler, and putting all of her training to the test. Sparrow quickly earned her reputation as one of STING's best. As such, when STING decided to put together an Alpha team of its top agents, Sparrow was a natural candidate for Alpha Commander.

AGENTInitial reports of the team speak of conflict among the agents due to Sparrow’s younger age and higher experience; resulting in a temporary reassignment of leadership. However, in the aftermath of a mission failure that left several agents captured and/or injured, Sparrow stepped up to take control of the situation and resolved it with minimal casualty; proving herself worthy of the position.

AGENTAs Alpha Commander, Sparrow led her team efficiently through numerous missions, all highly classified: even among its own members. After 6 years, however, the Alpha Team was disbanded when a mission failure resulted in one member being deactivated. Following this, Sparrow disappeared off the grid on unsanctioned mission; during which, by STING's account, she was reportedly killed. She was then officially relieved of duty.
